Fishing by a lake in Poland: Lake Mochel, cottages and Krajna
Lake Mochel is more than a bathing lake. For anglers it is part of a managed fishing district and can be combined with a stay in cottages right by the water.
Who manages fishing here?
Lake Mochel forms part of the fishing district “Jezioro Mochel na rzece Kamionka nr 3”. The authorised fishery user is Gospodarstwo Rybackie w Charzykowych Sp. z o.o., which publishes permits and current fishing rules.
Which fish are relevant?
The manager’s rules list species including pike, perch, pikeperch, eel, tench, carp, bream and roach. Pike and perch are also locally documented from Lake Mochel. Catching any individual species is never guaranteed.
Check the permit before fishing
Fishing requires the current permit issued for these waters. Seasons, methods, closed periods and other rules vary, so always check the latest regulations before you fish.
Two fishing options in one stay
Very close to the cottages there is also the private commercial fishery “Na Stawach”. Confirm current opening, prices and rules directly with the operator.
A simple plan
- Check the current Lake Mochel permit and regulations.
- Reserve a cottage or campsite if you plan to stay overnight.
- Optionally add the private “Na Stawach” fishery as a second fishing spot.
