Cycling holiday in Poland: Krajna, Lake Mochel and routes from Kamień Krajeński
Kamień Krajeński is a practical base for a cycling day or weekend: ride from town and return to Lake Mochel instead of driving to a new trailhead every day.
Official 42 km loop
An officially described loop runs from Kamień through Dąbrowa, Witkowo, Nowa Wieś, Obkas, Dąbrówka and Duża Cerkwica before returning to Kamień. It works well as a full active day.
A shorter option
Komoot users publish a shorter loop of around 24 km. It is a community suggestion rather than an official municipal route, and Visit Kamień keeps that distinction clear.
A regional connection
The roughly 39 km “Naszyjnik Północy” route crosses Krajna and Kamień but is not a loop. It is better used as part of a longer route plan.
Lake and accommodation as your base
After the ride you can return to Lake Mochel. Staying overnight lets you combine cycling with nature, seasonal swimming or a quiet evening in Kamień.
A simple plan
- Choose a route by distance, surface and weather.
- Reserve lakeside accommodation if you are staying overnight.
- Check current navigation and route signage before setting off.
