Obkas Hills: the highest point of Kuyavian-Pomeranian

The Obkas Hills are not a mountain range with a developed summit path. They form the highest part of a terminal-moraine belt north of Kamień Krajeński; the Landscape Park gives an elevation of 188.8 metres.

188.8 metres

The Landscape Park identifies the highest point as the highest location in the voivodeship. It is not a viewing tower or a developed mountain summit.

A glacial landscape

Terminal moraines, the channel form occupied by Lake Mochel, outwash plains and kames explain the rolling terrain.

No unverified summit shortcut

Visit Kamień does not publish a shortcut across private fields or an unconfirmed parking point. Marked routes and public roads come first.

Explore by bicycle

The regional Naszyjnik Północy route crosses the area. About 25 km lies within the municipality; check the latest route before setting out.

Photograph the landscape honestly

Fields, tree lines and changing relief are the real subject. Work from legal access and do not imply tourist infrastructure that is not present.

A simple plan

  1. Use an official or public route.
  2. Check access and weather.
  3. Respect private land.
